Did you know “Mini Pigs” are classified as any pig under 300lbs?
You may be thinking… “that’s not mini”… however it IS mini in comparison to farm hogs which can be 700-1,000+ lbs

Pigs are much denser than dogs, so their weight doesn’t necessarily match what they look like
Pigs tend to be 2-3x denser than a dog of their size. Even among pigs, 2 that are relatively close in size to one another, can be very different weights. The slide show images are great examples of comparing pig to dog weight

Healthy Mini pigs will generally be at least 15inches tall, and at least 75lbs when full grown.
Any breeder that tells you their adults are 9-12″ or 20-40lbs are lying.
Do not fall for the “teacup” sized scam!

Most Mini pigs range from 15-20″
Other common breeds consist of Kune Kunes which are slightly larger; they typically range from 20-24″. Kune Kunes are considered the larger of the mini breeds.
In comparision to a farm hog that typically ranges 30-36″ and bigger, they are truely mini!
